Slover Linett’s close-knit staff includes PhD and MBA researchers with decades of collective experience in social and market research.  Our mix of academic training and professional experience gives us the tools to dig deeply into your audience questions.

Those research skills are matched by our insight and expertise in the sectors we serve: arts organizations and museums. We're passionate about arts and culture and are active in the national dialogue in those worlds.

(That balance of research skills and nonprofit knowledge is something we’re pretty proud of.)

What brought us together at Slover Linett is our excitement about doing thoughtful and transformative work for institutions we care about. It’s something you can feel when you visit our north-side Chicago office.

Unlike some firms, we’re not a “virtual” assemblage of practitioners scattered around the country. We collaborate elbow-to-elbow, brainstorming about the design and implications of each study and envisioning new ways for our clients to succeed. The firm’s husband-and-wife partners, Cheryl Slover-Linett and Peter Linett, are involved in every project.

Multiculturalism is key for creating inclusive arts experiences


Last month, Coca-Cola aired its now-famous Super Bowl ad depicting people from various racial, ethnic, and cultural groups singing “America the Beautiful” together in different languages. Among the instant outpouring of polarized reactions to this ad rang much praise for its depiction of a multicultural America. Yet the ad provoked a slew of negative responses as well. Many of the ad’s detractors questioned whether this multicultural America could ever feel as cohesive as an America whose citizens speak a common language, and therefore have taken great strides toward assimilating into a common culture.
